Chapter 2: Surprise attack! Chris's comeback!
Chris readies himself for the challenge he gave Whitney: a Pokemon battle. Chris would be using his Kanto region Pokemon against Whitney. Not knowing that Whitney has a very big threat in her party.
"Alright bring it on!" Chris said pointing his thumb down. Whitney smirked at his enthusiasm "Alright you asked for it! Clefairy lets go!" She sent out her small pink Pokemon. "The match between Chris of this exact town Goldenrod and Whitney the gym leader will now begin. The Challenger may switch at anytime. 2 Pokemon each so...begin!!" Bryan yelled beginning the battle.
(cue HG/SS Johto Gym leader theme)
"alright Little G go with flamethrower!!!" Chris yelled pointing at the small pink Pokemon on the other side of the battle field. His Growlithe barked and fired fire at the Clefairy. "Quick dodge it!" Whitney yelled and her Clefairy dodged the fire attack. "Now go with Metronome!" Whitney said and the pink Pokemon lifted her hands and moved them from side to side. Chris flinched 'Not this again....' He thought to himself. 'Who knows what move could pop out.....for a Gym leader that's only the 1st one she's pretty tough....' Chris tightened his fists "Little G watch your guard!" He yelled and his Growlithe turned around and nodded wagging his tail.
Clefairy paused for a moment and then started to charge a beam and fired it at Growlithe and hit him into the wall. Chris looked back at him "Little G!" He yelled. "Growlithe is unable to battle. the winner is Clefairy!" Bryan said. Chris returned his Growlithe and tightened his grip on the pokeball and put it away. "When you've had enough let me know!" Whitney said smirking attempting to mess with Chris's mind. He shook his fists in anger "Don't....ever...." He grabbed another pokeball and pointed it at Whitney "underestimate me!!!!" He yelled angrily and threw it. "I choose you Blastoise!!!!" He released his big blue pokemon with the cannon like items on its shell.

Come to think of it, perhaps I could have Cronus meet Chris and Whitney before having go to Goldenrod and then battle Whitney and give him a spare badge there.
